GSS is committed to implementing and maintaining an effective Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS), ensuring compliance with all necessary statutory and safety regulations. The QEMS relates to the full range of company activities.

GDPR
We may have to collect and use information about people with whom we work. This personal information must be handled and dealt with properly, however it is collected, recorded and used, and whether it be on paper, in computer records or recorded by any other means.We regard the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as very important to our successful operation and to maintaining confidence between us and those with whom we carry out business. We will ensure that we treat personal information lawfully and correctly.
To this end we fully endorse and adhere to the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This policy applies to the processing of personal data in manual and electronic records kept by us in connection with our human resources function as described below. It also covers our response to any data breach and other rights under the GDPR. This policy applies to the personal data of job applicants, existing and former employees, apprentices, volunteers, placement students, workers and self-employed contractors. These are referred to in this policy as relevant individuals.
The objective of this statement is to ensure that GSS is committed to providing a work environment that is free from human trafficking and slavery by promoting ethical employment practices. Therefore; GSS will not knowingly work with companies that employ or utilise forced labour.

GSS operate a robust recruitment policy to ensure eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
GSS operate a whistleblowing policy so that all employees understand that they can raise concerns about how colleagues are being treated, or practices within our business or supply chain.

It is the policy of Gurkha Security Services Ltd to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, subsequent legislation and to provide and maintain a healthy and safe working environment. The health and safety objective of the our company is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and illnesses and ultimately achieve an accident-free workplace.
We recognise and accept the duty to protect the health and safety of all employees, visitors to its premises, including contractors and temporary workers, as well as any members of the public who might be affected by our operations.
