Gurkha Security Services Ltd (GSS) have taken on a brand-new security contract with a busy city council in outskirts of London. We are providing them with 19+ security officers and CCTV operatives. They oversee the safety of the public and security requirements for 7 very busy departments in the governmental properties.
The GSS team have been outstanding on the management of this new contract. There were some challenges which were expected with a project of this nature however, the team worked together and overcame these with ease and professionalism.
The site has 24 hours surveillance/security team who are professional, friendly, and highly qualified. They are made up of highly experienced security officers and ex-Gurkha officers. Their daily duties include but not limited to:
- Greeting visitors
- Issuing passes and carrying out searches
- Sign posting visitors to their destination
- Car park patrols
- Mobile patrols
- Perimeter patrols
- CCTV monitoring and constant liaising with local authorities
- Alarm response to the properties
The GSS operations team ensure the security officers are well equipped for their daily duties and they are also in constant communication with everyone involved. The project has been a great example of teamwork and solution focused attitude.
