This is a refreshment course for security officers who already hold a SIA badge. We advise you to attend a top-up course 4 months before the expiration date of your SIA badge, especially if you are in continuous employment.
We highly recommend confirming and booking at least 2 weeks to secure your place.

Search procedures, safeguarding, terror threat awareness, spiking awareness and physical intervention skills.
Understand how to carry out effective and lawful search procedures
Understand how to identify and support vulnerable individuals
Understand current terrorism threats and the role of the security operative in responding to them
Understand how to help protect the public from incidents involving drink or needle spiking
2 Full Days (additional day maybe required if you do not hold a valid First Aid certificate).

Yes, this course is designed for existing Door Supervisor licence holders.
We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance to secure your place.
You need to renew your SIA licence every 3 years.
Once your results are released, we will notify you.
Your qualification will then be added to your SIA online account. It is your responsibility to log in to the SIA portal and apply to renew your licence.
You can apply up to four months before your current licence expires. The SIA will provide instructions during the application process.
